Charging Cradle Instock VZW Online

You know I got them today FedEx at about 1pm MST and havent even had a chance to open one yet :(
 
still didn't get mine!
It was supposed to be here today by 3pm... well it's almost 9pm and guess where they are... Not this state I can tell you that. FedEx is horrible. This happens too often with FedEx (not UPS) for me.
 
Got mine today.... it's not bad. Love the big clock, and the fact that I can see it from my bed without picking it up. Not crazy about the fact that I have to hold the dock down to pull the phone out. I might use some double-sided to tape on the dock so I can pull the phone out without the dock moving.
 
Bad news everyone. They all are defective. As a courtesy please send your cradle to me and I'll return them. I'll send you a check "later"

I had suspected that was the case. I'll send it out first thing in the morning , lmao!
 
seems like they are coming back in stock across the board... I tried a smattering of zips, including my own, and they were all in stock.
 
I have the Body Glove rubberized snap case, which is a PITA to get the phone out of. Would it have to be removed for the phone to fit on the dock? I thought I read in one of the earlier posts that the phone won't fit on the dock unless removed from the case... didn't know if this was true for all though.

That is correct. The Droid will not fit in the dock with any kind of case on it so you would be removing that Body Glove everytime you wanted to use the dock.
 
Thanks for the quick response! I might have to consider ditching the Body Glove and switching to the invisibleShield... I wouldn't think there'd be any problems with that.

No problem. It should fit fine with an InvisibleShield. I would much prefer a IS or Phantom Skin over a hard case anyday. (imo)
 
Just ordered mine in NYC off the VZW site, free overnight shipping, can't wait. Wanted to grab one when I picked up the Droid on launch day but the store didn't have them in yet.
 
After getting depressed about my still backordered docks while everyone else gets theirs, I finally called Verizon. After about 10 minutes of clueless searching by the rep, she finally finds it and says it's in stock in the Midwest, Northeast and South. Well, I'm in Illinois. So she laughs and says she will send it on to processing. How long would I wait if I hadn't called back in? Crazy
 
Received mine today during lunch. Just picked it up at my local VZW store. The day I ordered my Droid the rep at the store ordered me the multimedia and car dock as well. Awesome store.

I can confirm that the dock works just fine with the Invisible Shield. Tho I am still waiting for my phantom skin so I can rip the I.S. one off the front.
 
I ordered full-body Phantom Skinz this afternoon... taking back the Body Glove if the install goes smoothly... then time to order the cradle!

well nothing really... and I have used invisible shields on every device I have had for year.. but I really just dont like the way it looks. I put it in fine, just takes away from the beauty that is the screen. SO I am gonna try the Phantom. If that doesnt work, i am going naked. Only on the screen tho. I have the 'shield on the rest of it so it doesnt get scratched when I put it on a table/desk/etc.

Hell I have the insurance tho, if it gets too bad I'll just get a new one lol...
 
Just an FYI for everybody that is installing and InvisibleShield , Phantom Skinz ect. , and you prolly already know this but I'm gonna say it anyways, you have to let it dry for a good 24-48 hours before the screen clears up. I installed my Phantom Skinz Monday morning and it looked horrible, riddled with bubbles and haziness. Tonight it is crystal clear and has no bubbles whatsoever.

So please before you get upset and tear it back off make sure you have allowed proper drying time.


I assume goon55 is tearing his IS off the screen because of the orange peel texture , although I could be wrong. Just speaking from experience...


Jacqueline , I love your happy dance and am now happy dancing as well. What can I say its contagious :D
