After 8 months now with my X, I've (after managing to rescue myself from a near dead non-charging phone http://androidforums.com/droid-x-su...month-old-dx-charge-more-than-50-charged.html) I've decided that the less times the USB plug is actually plug or unplugged, the better.
Do I understand correctly that at least some of the charging docks don't actually plug into the pinned USB slot on the phone?
Can someone give me the quickie 411 on the different docks especially if the above sentence is correct with them?
