Help charging habits

Just curious as to what people's charging patterns are. Do you:

-Charge it when it reaches a certain percentage (I.e. 20, etc)?
-Put it back on your dock or plug it in whenever you're not using it?
-Let it die completely?

Is there an advantage or disadvantage (in your empirical opinion) to whichever method you use?

lithium ions prefer to be charged/topped off rather then ran down to their end. lithium ions do not get battery memory so you do not need to run them down each use.

i keep the xoom plugged in each chance i get. there is circuitry inside the xoom and the lithium packs to prevent overcharging and heat.

if you run the battery down to its death all the time this will decrease its runtime over the course of the device. the cells when ran down to near death (full discharge) turns into paste which cannot hold a charge and therefore less cells to hold a charge=less runtime.

you never stated what *YOU* do? what are YOUR habits?

at the end of the day, its wise NOT to run the xoom DEAD. charge it up when you are able to. there is no need to run it off one charge all day...

this info applies to any lithium cell packs, not just the xoom. this applies to your htc incredible handset also. this info is widely available on the interwebs... :)

Could not have answered this better than mactronixxx that is exactly what I do. Unfortunately these batteries won't last forever...I wonder what the replacement cost is on these 2 giant batteries....

i would wager there would be some company that would do this service for you. i hope to have a new tablet by the time these suckers need replacing... :)

I'd rather motorola do it so if they screw up it's on them. I plan on using this for about 4 years so I'm going to need a replacement or 2 lol

Edit: I contacted motorola and they don't have an exact price for a battery replacement yet so I assume after the warranty of first day buyers ends they will have a price on their site. In case anyone like me was wondering
