Help Charging indicator on lockscreen 2.1

Hi all,

I've just upgraded my spica to 2.1 using Odin. I have also rooted my phone. But I have a question though. When you are charging the phone, I saw on other 2.1 devices that there should be a charging indicator under the date on the lockscreen. But I don't have this indicator and I don't know when my phone is done charging. Does anyone know how to get that on the spica? Or is there an app that can achieve similar result?

That look's like a combination of a wigdet to display Power, as well as an app that shows that widget on the lock screen.

But then you'll need to install the latest Samsung firmware, then install a patch that gives you root access, and then install tha Samdoid Kitchen Mod.

Which all sounds complicated..

If only someone would write a simple to follow guide, showing everyone how to install the latest firmware, and then install a Root patch to that firmware, so that mods could be installed..

Anyone?
