Hi,
My GS3 charges fine on my original AC charger, but won't charge using USB or the second/additional charger I purchased for my office. Is there something in the phone settings I can change? Is there something I am doing wrong ?
thx

PC's USB port and generic chargers charges only half of amperage than the original charger charges. And if you use your phone while charging the amperage (up to 500mA) is used for device load and not for charging the battery.

The default charging rate is 475 mA, therefore, to charge the phone, it takes approximately 2.5 times more.

Long story short, look at the back of the original charger & note the rated output amperage- any additional charger will need to at least match this rating to charge the phone at a normal rate.

I think the s3 only charges at 1000mA (is that 1 Amp or is "Mili" six zeros?) max though by default unless u root and tweak it
