charging issues

Apparently when I plug my droid to a wall socket it will only charge for a split second and stop charging and it repeats over and over. Does anyone know why it is doing that?

My car charger started doing that and i ended up getting a new one and it worked fine. Does it behave the same when you plug it in via your computer's USB port?

Have you tried a different wall socket. Mine did that until I replaced the socket. The plug was fitting too loosely in the old socket.
