Charging Phone?

I have a Captivate and I was wondering is it OK to leave the phone ON all night while it plugged in Charging? Can doing this cause any Battery damage?

It won't hurt to do so but imo I wouldn't do it for longer than a day.

Nope. It won't cause any damage. The phone knows when the battery is fully charged and will stop charging it. When fully charged, it goes into trickle charge mode is provides just enough current to keep it from discharging.

Thanks for the replies. I mainly asked because I would like to listen to Internet radio as I go to sleep at night and I wanted to keep the phone plugged in to charge while doing this.
