I used to turn my Shift off every night and charge it. I found that the battery life was inconsistent varying from 14 to 22 hours but I chalked it up to app activity.
The last 5 nights, I left the Shift on and silenced the speaker and found a consistent 25 hours of battery life every night.
Is this real or does the battery condition software just work differently when the phone is on and if I am really getting better battery life (and more consistent) by leaving the phone on.
In case you're interested, I have turned off many of the automatic sync settings on apps both to improve battery life and memory usage (my Contact storage went from 28 MB to 4 MB when I eliminated Twitter and Facebook sync!).
