Charging problem Metro PCS

Stock wildfire s from metro pcs and not rooted. What its doing now? I have used 3 different chargers and phone can be on or off doesn't matter. Plug it in and red light never turns green (hours). Phone says half charge in stats. Turn it off and do a battery pull turn it back on now it's 100% charged. Many thanks for any help as this is driving me crazy.

Have you tried putting a different battery? Maybe your battery is faulty

No I have not its still the stock HTC oem battery. I could hit up ebay. I thought it looked like a phone issue more than a battery one.

I don't know if it's a battery or phone issue...Just trying to eliminate what's not the problem
I would suggest you somehow find a friend that has the same battery and try. In case the battery is not the problem, you wouldn't have wasted money!

I guess I'm the only one with this problem. I got a 1500mah battery from ebay for $6. It was a little bit of a tight fit but let's see how it works.

Ok a new battery didn't fix the problem. It charged all night and this morning it was at 25% battery. I powered it down and pulled the battery. Powered the phone back up and battery is at 100%. So what do you guys think do a hard reset???

ok. I think you should try that hard reset. But before that,
Once I logged online on Facebook chat through the Facebook app and completely forgot to logout and for a couple of weeks my battery would discharge in hours. Then I realized what I had done and logged out.
So make sure you are not logged in by mistake on some chat app that could be using all your battery.
