Root Charging problem

Ok so iv'e been having this problem where my phone will not charge. Most of of time I get it to charge & even then it's a mystery because sometimes it will say it is but its actually discharging . Iv'e tried seeing if there's lint in the charging port. I already bought a new battery. Today has been hell I have only been on my phone an hour... Plz help.

This phone is notorious for the charging port going out. Not much you can do but get a new phone. Sry

You could try buying a new charging port and replacing your old one. Cheaper but you have to know what you're doing.

It really does sound like a hardware issue. You'll need to get a new phone. It's something that we must all go through with our devices.

Have u tried using a soft tooth brush or feather duster to clean the port?
