Help Charging Problems - Samsung Galaxy Ace 2

Seaside83

Lurker
Evening all,

I have had my Galaxy Ace 2 for 3 weeks now and today its started to lose power as its charging. If i plug it in at 20% power within 15minutes its dropped to 18% and keeps dropping!
I have killed all apps before putting it on charge so there is nothing running. Has anyone had this problem before, and is there any way to fix it?

Thank you in advance,

Paul

Moved to Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 section. :)
Are you running a task killer by any chance? Have you tried different chargers?

yes using Advanced Task Killer.
Tried using my old blackberry charger and it seems to have worked (perfect fit)
Must be a dodgy charger, but you dont expect it to die after just 3 weeks of use!
i'll try again tomorrow and report back!

I think it would really help your battery life if you uninstalled the task killer. Task killers do more harm than good and here's why. A task killer kills all active apps right? Some apps will just reopen themselves even if closed most likely because they need to run. If a task killer keeps killing those kind of apps it will just keep reopening itself and thus, uses more power to try and kill an app that wont stay killed. It's also just bad for your device as well and can make your device slower too and can generally just cause problems. I think if you uninstall it it will really help you. :)
