Help Charging question

Does the phone stop charging when full?, i could've sworn it keeps charging all the time when on the dock,I don't remember ever seeing the red light go off.
Today after removing from cradle, I tried to put it back on, the red light blinked for a second, but didn't stay on.
Is that normal?.

The charger is supposed to back down when the phone is charged. It will keep the phone charged to 100% as long as it is still in the cradle. My red lite goes off after awhile and it seems to have nothing to do with the charge imo. I always wake to a fully charged phone which is what we want, right?
