Help Charging Question

Looks like I have to SBF - but the battery is dead. I had the phone plugged into the wall charger, left it in the bootloader with it flashing that the battery is low, but then it dropped into the triangle/! screen. I was hoping that I could still charge in this mode. Does anyone know if the battery will charge in this mode, or do I need to charge with another phone or stand-alone charger?

No, it won't charge in that mode. That's why they always warn you not to SBF unless you have a full charge.
