Help charging

I have a Galaxy S4. Works pretty well. Charges OK usually. But up in my room when I plug the charger in, the thing beeps a lot (the Android) and a lot of times the charge symbol goes out. I have to remove the charger from the phone and plug it back in. Same thing might happen. Or the charge will show for a while and disappear. I didn't realize this once till my battery got to 33%.

So I thought like everyone else it was the charger. I bought a new one (5v) which worked fine in New Jersey. When I got home again and used it it seemed ok for a short time but then the same thing kept happening. The charge might show for a minute and then go out (and the red light showing it is charging). If the charge is on and the phone gets moved it might go out again. It takes playing around with it for several minutes before I get a stable charge.

Right now the same phone is at work charging fine. When I charge downstairs no problem.

I really don't know what is going on. Any ideas?

You may require a Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 Charging Port Flex Cable. If your phone is not the i9505 Model, make sure you get the correct part for your Model. I had intermittent charging occurring and it was a faulty Charging Port flex.
If the phone is still under warranty - return to reseller for replacement.
