The new Chase Bank app is out. I used it tonight to deposit 2 checks from my phone. It's amazing that I will never have to sit in the drive thru of a bank again behind ridiculous people that take forever.

I can't believe BoA can't do the same thing. I mean they have their ATM's practically making coffee for you now and their App is still so basic!!

Nice info, gonna move it to Android Apps for all to see!!!
 
Love this app, so much easier to keep an eye on balances! Did not know you could deposit from the phone, is it like the iPhone commercial where you take a picture of the check?
 
I've been using this app for over a month. It really is a great app and the camera/deposit feature works very well. This is probably one of my favorite apps.

There is a limit as to how much you can deposit through the app though, it is a $1,000 limit on the check amount, and $3,000 monthly total limit. They have updated the app once since release, and camera function worked a little bit better before, now the camera does not use the flash at all and I sometimes have to retake the photo 2 or 3 times to get a decent picture, the app will reject it if it is blurry.

Not true, mine uses it's flash. As far as deposits go, my payroll checks are direct deposited so the $1,000 limit doesn't really bother me. I have a second job that doesn't have direct deposit and my in laws live in the apartment in my basement and they pay me with a check every monty. It allows me to deposit all that I need to from my phone. LOVE IT!
