Root Chasing broken links

I am trying to locate Pete Alfonso's GPA18-pete-sholes (apparently his last Bugless Beast ROM for the OG Droid. There are links from his web site, but all seem to be broken.

Does anyone know where this can be found?

I am currently running GPA17 and want to upgrade to the latest before I pass my OG DROID to anyone else.
 
Looks like Peter Alfonso has gone by the wayside for now and I have been too un-attentive, since I used to try to 'grab' these things before they went away and put them in my collection linked in my sig.

The latest I have is GPA14. I might try to see if I can contact him, but it doesn't look good at this time.

p.s. I do have Chevy No1's SS (Simply Stunning) 5.6 (Android version 2.3.7) ROM's though. . . . .

Thanks for the offer of the SS Rom and I may take you up on that at some point. I can send you the copy of GPA17 if that helps your collection. I was very happy with it when the OG D1 was my only smartphone, and it runs well for what it is.
 
Sure, I'll put it in my collection for posterity. I don't know which was first, GPA17/18 or the nightlies he still has on his site as I have been out of the Droid 1 for a few months now and had stopped following Pete's work closely for months before.

Wow, I didn't even try those links, though I did try some of his others. Looks like Pete's broken.

As far as getting GPA17 to me, I have yet and don't want to setup a FTP server on my server, so maybe rapidshare:

Some of us have been using rapidshare for years, or if you have dropbox, or maybe 4shared. I doubt a file of that size would go through as an attachment on even gmail's servers.

OK, I set up an account on rapidshare and made it public for download. My account on rapidshare is unicorn512 and since I have never used that system before, I am not sure how you access the file I uploaded. It sounds like you know what to do, and it's the only file I have placed there, so let me know how it goes. After you retrieve it, I can change the share permissions to private again.

The link didn't work. Rapidshare looks like it might have changed, but the link I need is to the file itself, unless that is what you intended.
 
That's working, thanks. Now I just had a thought, I'll ask around in my circles if anyone else has GPA18 for sholes.

Yes, that page looked promising, but all the links do not pan out.

It says the ROM is available in ROM Manger, but I didn't see it there and I have ROM Manager Premium V5.5.2.3

There is a link in the "Download" section titled Sholes (Motorola Droid) but that link results in
Epic 404 - Article Not Found
at wonderly.com

So no joy....
 
Also, after looking around some more, the last one from Pete seems to have been GPA19 (not GPA18) so that's the one I would like to get...
 
Well, I gave it a shot. Looks like Pete might have taken his toys and gone home. The only other thing to try would be to see if anyone has his actual contact info . . . . I don't.
 
Checking his tweets looks like his hosting service shut him down because they don't like data, just web content
