Chat Invitation Notification

Hey Everyone!

I just joined today because I am desperate to find an answer to my question and didn't see any posts that really address my issue.

I have a Galaxy Note II, fairly new. I woke up this morning to a notification saying something like:
" lisa@(mycompany'sdomainname).com has invited you to a chat session "

I literally was woken up by it, so I was really groggy and thought nothing of it, so I accepted. Nothing happened on my phone at all. It wasn't until later that I realized it probably wasn't really a request from my coworker, so I asked her and she said she didn't send it.

Any idea what this could be? I did send her an email from my phone once over a year ago, so I am thinking it might have something to do with my gmail account.

Do you know which application was notifying you?

welcome to AF!!!!!

if you have google talk you might get that notification. if you posted or made public your email, sometimes you can get spammers trying to contact you and get you to go to their site or buy something.....so be careful.
