So does anyone know of a program or anything where us members of AF can just hang out and chat in real time on our droid phones, or preferably all platforms (ios,palm,droid,winmo)? if there isnt one setup would this besomething people are interested in?
 
I don't know of one, but i would actually pay for an app like this. Or if anyone knows how to create may an ICQ chat room or something like that?
 
thats kind of what im thinking, im trying out this program text+ seems like it may work but cant tell just yet.
 
just made a "community" in the program text+ looks like theres a limit of 100 people, but seems to be instant.
 
Nice. I sent a message to Shivers. I'll update once he replies to see if this ever might be a possibility.
 
Surely an IRC channel is the best way to implement this, if there isn't already one. There are IRC Android apps.
 
We've had an IRC channel since the beginning. If you guys didn't notice, there's a "chat live" link in the nav bar. Also, if you want to use your own IRC client, it's Freenode and the channel is #androidforums.
 
huh, that link never worked for me so I assumed it was a plugin that got disabled (similar to tapatalk) thank you for that!

how do you connect to in IRC client. I dl'ed yeaac(something like that) but not sure exactly what to do.
