Cheap apps today! (March 8, 2012)

In case you guys haven't seen yet, there are a lot of sales going on in the android market today (android play, or play store)

If you look in the market, there is a spot called play 49 cent games. There are a lot of really good games and apps there that are normally 1,2,3,4,5 or more dollars, all on sale for 49 cents.

Shadowgun is one of the apps for sale! it isn't the thd version, which I already have, but I'd rather have the non thd version since they look the same, and they refuse to update the thd version, but the normal version has 4 new levels. If i could do it again, id buy the non thd version.

Also there are very cheap books, movie rentals, and other things. where's my water is 25 cents today. For the next 7 days, there will be a deal of the day also, so keep your eyes open!

I believe these sales are in part because the market is now changed to play, and they are trying to pump up the new market, showing people that you can use the media in it over the internet, you no longer need an android device to use the media.

Any who, take a peek! The deals are fantastic and I found that I bought almost all of the 49 cent apps today

Well, I picked up Shadowgun and it is crashing all over the place. Maybe the Non THD version wasnt the greatest idea.

Restart your device. If that doesn't work, uninstall, reinstall, then restart. People don't seem to get a clean install these days... If all else fails, 2 quarters ain't gonna kill ya.

shadowgun crashing for me as well - it goes into 'strobe' mode and freezes

no issues with shadowgun for me. just playing it now with my ps3 controller. really nice game. can't get the ps3 controller to work with deadspace however.

Osmos HD is my favorite game so far but it is crashing every other game. Anyone else having this problem or should I try a re-install?

no issues with shadowgun for me either. was suprised after i downloaded it from the market and started it that it still needed to download more files.

Not very often, maybe once a week... however some of the crashes have required a complete shutdown by holding the power button from a frozen screen.

I would restart you device, uninstall the application crashing, then restart again. Finally, try and reinstall your application.


Restarting can free up and help redisribute the ram, and end processes in the background. I tend to shut my Prime down every night, or every other night.



Funny site I found is Restart Your Computer

Restarting your pc (or tablet) can resolve a lot of problems, so I'd do that before anything (complaining your app is crashing on this forum)
