Cheap Kickstand trick

I dont think anyone has posted this one yet but who knows.

I have a silicon Rocketfish case and i sometimes find it not difficult but not so easy without nails to kick the kickstand up. So what do I do? I push in on the opposite side and it kicks it out for me. =)

:p

I have the same case and have been doing it all night. Hopefully it will still work on my Seidio Innocase Active Pearl White I am ordering at the end of this week!

Just tried it on the black and it works like a charm.

I have a completely different kickstand trick, I use my kickstand in my air conditioning vent as kind of a jerry rigged holder. My daughter can watch her cartoons from slingbox on the way to her grandmothers in the morning :)

Clever, but with my HTC gel case this seems about as easy as the normal method.

Yes, people do seem to be quite jealous of the kickstand. It is amazing how some people can't stand seeing a phone on the table when the screen isn't visible to them!

Wow great trick! My fingernails are chewed back way behind my skin so I've been using a key to pry it open. This is much easier and works on stock case.

Thanks - if only I could with my fat fingers ...

Haha this has become my nervous habit with the Evo. For my old phone (palm centro lawl) it was flipping the Silent Mode switch back and forth all the time

The kickstand isn't hinged on the very edge. Because of this you can push on the opposite end of the kick stand (like a sea-saw) and it opens enough to make it REAL easy to open.

indeed... for my old phone (rant..YUCK!) it was slide open, slide close. Now it is kickstand out. kickstand in... never would have thought of that!

I realized this worked days after having my evo, but out of habit for some reason i can't remember to do it that way.
