Cheap second phone with google contacts sync?

[happyskeptic]

I'm looking for a cheap second phone as I may need to send my Desire off to get repaired soon, and it's always good to have a cheap one to take out where the expensive phone might get damaged.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a cheap phone (less than 50 euros) that is easy to sync my google contacts to?

I realise <50 Eur won't buy a smartphone but perhaps one that's easy and quick to sync the google contacts when connected to a PC ?

Not sure about Europe, but here in the US any older Android phones, like the Samsung Moment, HTC Hero, etc can be had for around $50 or so on places like eBay, etc.

No even the G1 starts at about 110 Euros on ebay

Has anyone had any success syncing contacts onto an old Nokia S60 phone? If so which one(s)?

Wow...I see G1's going for $40-50 all the time

It's not the cost of the phone, it's the cost of the required data plan. I want a basic phone that I use as a phone but that can be sync'd with google contacts. Any body else thinking this way?
