Checking for updates on the phone...

When I "check for updates" in the settings, it always just says "your system is up to date". It doesn't appear to check anything as there is no delay, just shows that message. How can it be up to date when there is an update ready? I checked for updates on a phone in the store and it said something like "checking" and appeared to go to the network and check something.

Is my phone normal? Will I still get the 2.2 update?

Its normal. When 2.2 gets sent to your phone it will show up when you check for updates.

It will show up in the notification bar.
