Whilst I can empathise with your frustration at the lack of CheckROM RevoHD v7 you must understand that the CheckROM team have set a very high bar for their past custom ROM's and are not keen to release anything that falls below their high standards.
As mentioned previously on this, and other threads, the initial release of ICS, LPQ, was, in their eyes, less than perfect and, as the old saying goes... "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear".
However, ICS has moved on, in leaps and bounds, to LPS and LP8 as well as Android 4.0.4, (for the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus, etc
, and I feel sure that some of these improvements will be incorporated in the v7 when it is released. Putting it ahead of the stock ROM's and offering a better user experience.
Personally, I do not think that they will lose any CheckROM devotees as their reputation precedes them and custom ROM flashers will flock back to try it upon its release.
In the meantime I am quite content to rest my laurels with CheckROM v6 and am chilled out about it, see here:-
