CheckROM RevoHD v7 (ICS)

Good News... Bad News.

The bad news is that both GadgetCheck and LeoMar are getting SGSIII's in June....


The good news is that they are committed to the continued developement of CheckROM v7 for the SGSII. See here.

Those guys have too much money. Maybe they still get 1 year contracts in India. I know i still have a year on mine to go.
 
After looking on new S3 im dissapointed... its so awful that it looks like some cheap "apple like made in china" :( Spec aren`t impressing either... i`ll stick to S2 and wait for S4! In the meantime waiting for june and v7 :)
 
think i must be the only person that actually thinks the gs3 looks good. Dont think its ugly at all. But ill reserve judgement until i actually hold one in my own hand, as i think most people should do.

well true, this really make sense but i thought Samsung can figure out sth a bit more nice... honestly i dont even want to have it in my hand as i wont buy it for sure. S2 is great phone and i think another year spend with it is not a bad idea ;) at least it looks nice and spec is still more than enough!

Oh well, it'll give Apple something to aim for in November, or whenever iPhone v5 shows up. Which means in a years time we can look forward to something even more spectacular from the likes of Sammy. ;)

You're not alone there. I quite like the look of it. Maybe its because my last 4 or 5 phones have all been pretty much the same shape so I've kind of had enough of rectangles. There's a bit of deja vu going on with everyone slating the build quality, if I remember correctly the gs2 got mocked for its flimsy, plasticy casing. Didn't put me off then, don't think it will now.
 
it does look good but I'm Sticking with my S2 until the S4. Can't afford early upgrades, won't be getting V7 until July as I won't get any reception in Rainforest ;p

Pretty much this. Ive got over 12 months left on my S2 contract and the S2 is far from dead.
 
Agreed. My contract is up October 2013 so it's S4 for me too, and anyway there's nothing wrong with my S2 - yet!

CR v7: After using D4 Rom the CheckRom mob had better come up with something seriously cutting edge as that's what it's going to take to get me back on that rom - largely because the D4 experience is so good, but partly because of the good will the CheckRom devs have lost in c*cking around with ICS.

October 2013 for me too! Looks like we'll be hanging around here for some time yet! I'm thinking CR v7 can't possibly be better than Dragon ICS, but miracles do happen.

Oct 2013 for me too. as lush as the specs of the s3 are, my "old" s2 will do nicely for a while yet. not fussed on the shape of the s3, but if i had one, i'd probably love it.;)
