CheckROM RevoHD v7 (ICS)

Feature Requests:
Dual Booting Support - (Not sure if this is possible, Maybe Multi-booting )
From Checkrom.com

Not possible ey

Hahaha that's pretty funny, but I guess dual-boot implies that you have two roms running simultaneously and you can switch between them like launchers. That's probably hard to accomplish.

Having the ability to store multiple roms and choose which one to run however is very possible. They just need a lesson from gokhanmoral ;)

I think though to be honest these CR guys are pretty darn young so to do what they do is pretty impressive. Gadgetcheck is down as 20 years old on Battlefield lol.

For those with 12 months still on their contract, all you do is sell your SGS2 to pay off the remaining months then get a new contract. Thats what I was going to do but ill wait for something better. SGS3 is nice but doesn't blow me away.

I dont see it as the upgrade Id be happy with another 18-24 months for. Maybe next gen. Just not this one.

The joy of not bothering with contracts. I plan to sell my gs2 which means I'll only have to pay about

It has pros and cons :P I'm happy to wait until next year and not pay a dime...and get an even better phone! Contracts are getting cheaper too, so I'm always paying less when I renew. I paid $80 a month for my 3GS, now $60 a month for SGS2. And when I'm done, I can still sell my SGS2.

I got a nice deal with Orange. I threatened to leave them because of the balls up of handling the SGS2 on release. They paid my last bill (line rental) and offered me my tariff at

i got 1y contract so another 3 months to go ;) whats next, will see but i deffo keep S2... propably till S4 (hopefully it will look better than S3 ;) )

This is fantastic, v6 has been the most stable rom on my s2 since I got it.

I for one am really looking forward to this release.

hopefully AOKP

though i doubt it, and its going to be based around Jkay framework (sigh)

it will probably have a sgs3 look about it or be black and blue themed just for a change.

or will CR actually pull something new out of the bag ???????

i stay indifferent till the release

I'm not holding my breath on CRR v7 I'm afraid.

I'll crack open a few cold ones when I'm actually downloading and installing it!

Just read this:-

  • Added Support for GS3 to Kitchen
  • Fixed Kitchen Bugs on ICS for (GS2)
  • Made warning Messages for people trying to flash multiple Incompatibly files
  • Added Custom ICS Notification system
  • Fixed bugs to CheckROM Download Manager

CheckROM KitchenPRO V2.43 Should be auto update via market in a matter of hours...

See, here.

Might just put a few in the fridge to cool.... just in case! ;)

I thought this was gonna drop when jkay came out? Meanwhile all the good roms have already updated with jkay. Given how disappointing jkay is anyway, what can the CRR team do?! As we predicted, it's gonna be a big flop.

Sorry old boy, I have to beg to disagree on the JKay framework and DeLuxe Settings. For me, they offer a lot of configuration tweaks that I find very useful... and all under one roof.

I have a feeling that the CheckROM boys may yet surprise us when they do eventually release.
