CheckROM RevoHD v7 (ICS)

i've been runnin neat lite since it was released a few days ago (siyah), battery life is on par with check v6. prob the best ics rom ive used in terms of battery life, smoothness and compatibility, so its the benchmark for me that check v7 will have to beat.
 
Top right hand corner of the ExTweaks Plus screen... your's probably says, "Default", at the moment. If you press and hold there you will get a drop down menu for the pre-configured settings for..

I'm guessing due to the silence, that there are no plans to release Checkrom v.7

Two people asked on the thread, and neither have had answers.

Edit: Someone on there seems to think that it's being released in the next 7 days.

To be honest, I couldnt give a monkeys about CheckROM any more.
It's not going to be any better than Neat, and lets face it, a Kitchen app is only useful for about half an hour after you flash a new ROM. Ok, occasionally you may flash a theme or two but 99 times out of 100, you will end up going back to your "favourite".

CheckROM will basically be NeatROM plus Kitchen minus a truly helpful dev.
 
I don't know, I liked having an app that stored the latest mods and kernels that you could use on the fly.

But it is the only reason to get Checkrom now I suppose, if battery stats are as good as we've seen.

I have all due respect to the op who has posted this topic out in the open.. (which is a good thing)

I myself think that its a 100% faliur of our dev team excluding dharam (who has done a great job with his dk kernel) every body know that our work speaks for the name/respect we have earned among all our users and all the great dev's out there.

I know its a faluir on my part that i coud never provide v7 in time for every one to enjoy in the s2 section.. and the i moved on with the S3
(to be truthful s3 is just a device thats comming into the masses and the potential/ dev intrest is always more there its more of a excitement) But i regret every moment the fact that i have not even looked at the s2 from when ics was onboad and now 4.1 is also out which is really a shame for me.

Its not that i dont want to do sm thing on the s2
Its not the i dont like you guys
Its not that i want to leave u guys in the dark
Its not that v7 will never come.

Its simply becoz i spent most of the free time i had behing working s3 and ignored the s2 development plane hard truth..
Another thing was that Jkay (with all due respect to him) made his app a payed and we dont want to give you guys a rom that needs a payed app to unlock its true potential.

And maintaing a kitchen with quality content like we had for v6 is really really difficult.. coz its always a pain to redo every thing from scratch all that content. And give perfection so that u dont have even a single bug.. And on xda there are devs who have deliverd it too.

But you know some times managing many device's at at one time is really difficult..

Till the time i am not satisfied with my rom's i wont release then, I use the GS3 now and my attention is to make it a better device, i have the gs2 also but only if i have the time to make sm thing on it coz i have people at my place to look after i have my life etc..

i too am human.
it takes time and its realy difficult to keep up.

Inevitable really. New toys so the old ones go back in the box. You'll hear the same complaints and issues in 12 months when the S3 gets less love or when a new Galaxy note comes out..... It's far simpler to be honest with people and say the end is nigh.
 
Well, im still on checkron v6, been waiting for v7, but i think its time ill try something new... bah, checkrom was exactly what i wanted.
 
:( im still on v6 too but in this case i think its time to move to some other rom...
too bad im too busy to do it atm...
anyone could sell me some spare time ? ;)
 
to be honest it seemed something was obviously up so i never got carried away with the whole "v7 is coming and will be awesome" stuff. Moved on months ago and even though devs have the right to do what they want it does mean ill distrust most things they say if i get the s3 in the next few weeks.
