This has possibly been the longest wait of my life. I was about 60% through a download of a film when I started downloading crv and its been painfully slow. Plus side films finished so cooking on gas.

JKay v12.1 themes not compatible yet.

I flashed over v2.0 without wiping and no problems in the last couple of hours so far.

Seems very, very, slick and smooth. I didn't think it was possible. :)

When I installed a couple of app's fro the Kitchen I downloaded them and selected apply... nothing seemed to happen. However, when I went into Recovery or Reboot, they started installing OK. I guess the Kitchen app hasn't been updated yet.
 
Yeah just beet me to it. It does feel nice with beta 6. I was debating should I tell syd that. One thing though did I just down a few more pints or did the text actually get really small.
 
It's not you... the text did get smaller. I went to Settings > Display > Screen display > Font style > and selected a font.... all good now. :)

I'm using Launcher Pro's 3D vertical App drawer and it is fffaaaasssstttt on scrolling. So is my contact list and stock browser. BLN working fine too.

Here's a prayer to the little green god of Android... for Sydney99...

Check out some of the built-in ringtones, like V for Vendetta and Transylvanian Horses.
 
Crazy as it may sound... but I just had to go to SetCPU to double check that I'm not using the "performance" governor and running at 1600MHz max:

I'm not, but it feels like it! :D

How would i update, through ROM Manager ? 1st time trying to update a custom ROM. Thanks in advance

Edit: Nvm.... Got it. Thought it was different cuz its an update. Smh

I was going to say oh dear but ironass beat me to it. What the hell have you done to your phone sydney? That just isn't right. I feel a bit bad now but I just signed back on to say its running quick and smooth and everything seems dandy. I'm not going to go into too much detail as don't won't to gloat.:D
One thing I've got to check though is what swype version this is. I'm shocked it actually works 90% of the time.I've even tried to correct mistakes which weren't actually there just because they always used to.

Nice distraction though. Would've bought that but waiting on my assassins revelation pre order to be posted. Shipped thursday so should get it a couple of days before release. Anyway ironass about the choose font. Did you have them pre installed as I only get the option to download from the market. And the 2 free options are kind of shit.
 
I installed the Font Pack from "Misc" in the Kitchen.

If you you select Font Pack then select Apply, it appears not to load. However, I found that by rebooting the phone, it loaded. Works with other Kitchen app's I've tried too. A bit fiddly I know, but it's a stop gap until the new Kitchen is out.

UPDATE

As I'm feeling generous... you could download an .apk for the new Ice Cream Sandwich font called Roboto. Just install as you would any other .apk and it will appear in your font choices.

Stupid question fellas..... This is based on XWKJ2 Firmware from Samsung. Is this compatible with my device being that i have XXKI4 ? Currently running CheckROM Rev 2.0... Thanks guys..
