Root Chevy's Kernal breaking Titanium

It looks like Chevy's kernal is breaking the root access for Titanium. Anyone else having the same issue? When I first installed BB .7, Titanium worked fine. Then I installed Chevy's kernal and now it doesn't have root access.

Looks like a couple other people are having the same issue on AllDroid.

I'm using BB .7 with Chevy's 1ghz kernal.

I just noticed I also had the same problem with BB.7 and Chevy but it is easily fixed. In Titanium, hit the Problems button and auto-upgrade busybox. Now Titanium is working fine. Damn, you got me scared for a few minutes

Busybox won't download for me. Strange.

I'll try the permissions later. Never done permissions on my Droid before.

Weird. Tried it again and it worked! Oh well.

Anyway. Hopefully this thread will help someone who's wondering what's wrong with Titanium.

I'll have to give this a try, b/c I've also had this issue. I'm on UltimateDroid 6.3 and was using the 1.25 kernal. When I tried to restore through Titanium, I'd get a reboot, my wallpaper would change, and the Market would stop working.

The button does stop working every now and then.. most likely an issue with the server it downloads busybox from.. assuming it downloads it that is.

I have had to use it a few times, and found that if it fails, I can usually wait a bit and try again with success.
