In my experience chickens have very good eyesight. They are certainly better at spotting movement in our house than a human standing in the same place would be - though I'm sure they are just watching in the hope that we'll bring them treats
(Yes, I have some as well. Just a couple of little bantams at the moment, will be adding to the flock this Spring).
