Chomp and Handcent not working properly

Either app, almost every message I get a sent failure message, but it actually goes through. People I'm talking to are getting the messages 2-3 times.

Any ideas?

Went back to stock, but the other 2 are so much nicer.

I am swapping this phone for a new one tonight, so I'll try it again with the new phone.

Really comp works fine with me. Only time I get a fail is if there is a message coming in at the sane time

I use Go SMS and love it. Works perfect for me

I actually just removed chomp and installed sms pop-up much smaller footprint and does what I need

I had used Chomp previously but I prefer some of the additional customization options in Handcent, which have both worked fine for me.

I decided that I would go for.the smallest size and sms pop-up does that. It adds a pop-up with quick reply functionality to the standard messaging app works smooth fast and light

After testing Handcent, I reverted back to the stock app. I had issues sending MMS with Handcent and after reading online it seems a lot of folks do and still use the stock one to send photos/videos.

The stock one is fine, the only thing I really miss is the emoji. But I can get over that

You should try sms pop-up if.you like the stock

Just put chomp back on. Sms pop up kept doubling my notifications

I use Handcent and haven't experienced any problems with SMS or MMS and I really like it a lot. I used it on my Desire and now on the Inspire. The only thing that still bugs me is that on the Desire, it supports multicolor LED notification and on the Inspire, there is no option in Handcent to change the color of the LED. But anyway, so far - no issues.
