Help ChompSMS not letting me delete a conversation

i long hold on the convo, it asks if i want to delete it, i hit yes and nothing happens.

It just freezes my phone
 
When I am in chomp, I hit the conversation and it brings up all the bubbles. Then I hit menu and one of the options is to delete conversation. Have not had an issue yet with it not working. If you have a thousand texts in that conversation it will take a while. Been there done that lol.

how long did it take? i have a few thousand in that convo
