Help Choppy speaker?

Ever since I purchased mine, I notice that the speaker sounds a bit choppy or distorted. Is it just my phone? I'd like to know if you guys are experiencing the same issue.

I am. Mine sounds blown when using the speaker. I have my friends too and his is the exact same.

Really? Does it crackle when the volume is at Max? I'm exchanging mine in a couple of hours.

Mine crackles at the 3 upper volume levels. I've tried messing around with equalizers, still does it. It's the same type of sound I'd get when I underclocked my Triumph too low. Not exactly a crackle like a blown speaker, more like the cpu isn't keeping up?

Mine only sounds choppy when using Skype or OoVoo, obviously a bandwidth issue instead of hardware.

Same here. On a side note, ive found that if ur watching YouTube and ur having trouble hearing it, just cup ur hands around the back of the phone while leaving an opening at the bottom. Natural amplification whilst redirecting the sound at yourself and not the open air in front of u. I said whilst...

Yeah when I downloaded the game the sound kept crackling...hopefully it's just the game.
