My mom is in a nursing home, my dad isn't all right in the head and my brother passed away last Memorial Day. Plus I broke up with the one woman I loved more than anyone else on Christmas day 2011. It's just me and my niece now so we don't celebrate holidays anymore.
However, I do love this time of year and all the colored lights and snow. A glazed ham would be nice....
