chrome tabs

is there a way to make chrome only open one tab per link im looking at. i have email links on my home window, everytime i click to check email it opens a whole new tab instead of just refreshing the tab that already is open. how can i stop this

As far as I know, there is no way to do that. However, the tabs are really easy to close, if you feel the need.

Yeah, I can't think of a way to stop that. That sort of behavior is usually determined by the webpage by using target="_blank" or whatever in the link.

I seem to have an infinite number of tabs open. But unlike windows chrome, it doesn't hog every scrap of memory it can find.
