Help Clean Restore help please note 2.

Hi all. New here, and new to android phones. Came over from the iphones.

Love the Samsung Note 2. But I did install a lot of different launchers, one being the go launcher (plus a huge library of the go themes, sms etc). Wasn't keen on the results so removed all from my phone. But found the folders still there. So I did a factory restore through the option on the phone. When I logged back onto my google account on the phone, it started to download the "go" apps again. Think I read it is not possible to completely remove the apps you've downloaded and removed from the phone, as they store within your online gmail account.

What I want to do is take the phone right back to when it was new. But every time I log back in on the phone it wants to update the removed apps, and I have to manually stop them. It is looking like the only way around this, is to create a new gmail account. Although don't really want to do this, has I've had a gmail email account for some time now, and the email is attached to some of my online accounts.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction, as I feel I must be doing something wrong. It's taken a while to get used to the phone as I said always had the iphones before.

Thanks for any help received. If you require more info please let me know. My Note 2 is NOT the lte model. It's the GT- N7100. Baseband: N7100XXALIH. Android Version 4.1.1.

You can try this. Before you factory reset your phone, go to Google Play then press menu/settings. Un-check auto-update apps and auto-add shortcuts. Go back to Google Play's first screen and press menu/my apps. Select the app you want to uninstall, then tap uninstall. Do this for everything you want to uninstall. When done, exit Google Play then go ahead with the factory reset. None of the apps should automatically come back.

Before FR'ing do the following;

Make sure the apps you don't want are uninstalled.

Open Google Play.

Press the 'Menu' (bottom left) softkey, then select 'my apps'.

Swipe Left and you will be shown a screen with 'all' apps, not just those you currently have installed.

Find the app you want to remove.

As long as the app is not currently installed, there will be a little 'remove' icon next to it (a circle with a line through).

Simply click this remove icon and the app will be removed from your history and therefore will not try to re-install the next time you FR.

From this screen you can select multiple apps to remove by pressing and holding on one, once it is selected simply touch others and they will be selected also. The Remove icon will now be top right of your screen, click and confirm to remove all selected apps.

Thanks R4nd0mJ0k3r. I had read that before, and did do this. It removed the apps from my play account too under "others". But this still somehow found the "Go" apps and started to install them. That was then.

I have just done what Netcat told me to do, and that has worked. I've just checked the auto update and it has enabled itself, but I don't see any "go" apps now!! Really please about this, tried many times without success.

Why did this work though? Would of thought doing what R4nd0mJ0k3r had suggested should of wiped them from my account, yet that didn't work for me!

Thank you both for helping.
