Clean S4 Calendar

I have a Galaxy S4 with AT&T. Recently I had to get a new one. When Facebook was reloaded, it put garbage events in my Samsung Calendar (birthdays from Facebook friends). I don't want this. I uninstalled Facebook. When I go to add a new Event in the Calendar, it has memorized those Titles and I can't get rid of them. No events are connected to the memorization. Have been trying to work with Samsung but they keep blaming Facebook. I just want to clean it up. Have cleared cache, etc. Any ideas? Steps would be great.

Clear data for the calender.

It's foolproof, and since this is a new phone, you have nothing to lose. I'm surprised Samsung support didn't suggest this.
