I'm not really sure what gets stored permanently on Samsung's servers, but you could try this:
Delete the Samsung account. Reboot the phone. Set up the Samsung account again, un-checking everything you don't want synced.
While I can't promise that the Sammy servers will delete your synced data, it's the best I could come up with on the fly. You could also contact Samsung directly and ask them. I hope this helps.
Thank you for your answer and warm welcome The_Chief.
If I go to the settings->general->account->samsung>email adress, I can see "Remove account" but I wonder the account is just removed from the device or also deleted on the cloud. Else, how can I delete the account on the cloud?
I also tried to visit 'account.samsung.com' in order to be able to manage (or at least see) the cloud's storage, but I couldn't find any sections to see the contacts, internet sync data, etc. Is there some online website to manage the cloud's content?
Another question : what is under "sync Internet" ? does it store on the cloud sensitive data such as the passwords kept in memory by the browser or only bookmarks, history, etc?
I'd tell you that I don't know, but that isn't entirely accurate. I know everything... I just can't remember it all at once!
You might go back to Samsung.com and select live chat and ask them. I really can't say what they do and don't store, or how long it stays stored once an account is deleted. Whatever answer you get, kindly post it for the benefit of our other members.
