Help Clear "Launch by default setting"

HTC DHD with Android 2.3.3 (non rooted)

Last night i accidentally set the "Mobo Video Player Pro"(1.0.6) by "Video Team"(https://market.android.com/details?...ult#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5tb2JvLnZpZGVvLn
BsYXllci5wcm8iXQ..)as the default application to play my rmvb files. Now I am unable to clear the "Launch by default" setting in order to play rmvb with better others. I have done the followings but ALL UNSUCCESS.

1. In Home>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications, "NO default set"
shown in "Launch by default" of "Mobo Video Player Pro" but in reality it
was set as default app. The "Clear Default" button is grey out.
2. Uninstalling the "Mobo Video Player Pro" but it still locks the rmvb files.
When pressing an rmvb file nothing happens, the notification window for
selecting other players/app dose not popup. Reinstall the stupid app
dose not help !!
3. Tried others app such as "default app manger" and "ClearDefault", no
luck.
4. Clearing all datas and caches, power off my cell, removing battery, The
FxxKING app still persists as the default app for playing rmvb files.
5. Search in Google and the Forum no solution found.

This app makes me MAD:confused::confused:.
I will try any of your suggestions to get rid of the situation. Please help, thank you !!

Sorry I forgot to mention that actually there is another video player in my HTC DHD, that is MoboPlayer by "Mobo Team" (https://market.android.com/details?...sMSwxLDEwOSwiY29tLmNsb3Y0ci5hbmRyb2lkLm5pbCJd)

Now I install "MX Video Player", and uninstall the Fxxking "Mobo Video Player" (not "MoboPlayer", they are two different apps by different developers). So there are two players in my cell. When touching an rmvb video clip the app selecting window is expected to popup for my preference, right? Unfortunately NOTHING, NOTHING, not the window nor the clip playing. It seems that the bloody app locks the "launch by default" setting somewhere.

Anyway thanks for your suggestion !!

Usually the "default" setting can be cleared by going into the app that is set to default via Manage Applications and clearing cache and/or data.

Usually works for me.
 
I know, i know, i know the way to clear the "Launch by default" for a normal app! But in my situation the "Launch by default" setting for the FXXKING app
("Mobo Video Player Pro"(1.0.6) by "Video Team") could NOT be cleared by the normal way. It even could not be cleared with the app installed. I emailed the developer but no response. So dose any one have any suggestion other than the NORMAL way?
