Help clear old web pages

Can anyone help? My Galaxy Note 3 used to have a way in which you could clear away old web pages but since its update its gone and now I can't open any web page because I simply get a message to say there are too many windows already open.

How do I clear them all?

Stock email app?

hit your internet button and look to the top where the web address goes, then the box to the right will tell you how many windows you have open, hit that then hit the little minus sign ( - ) in the top right of each open box to close its page.
