Help Clearing cache after sbf to GB?

Anyone had an issue clearing cache in GB? I was in Froyo rooted, sbf'ed back to stock froyo and took the OTA update to GB and then did a factory reset.

Now when I go to clear cache it looks like it starts to update, then I get the little droid with the !. Only way to get past it is a reboot..

A little more google found it... once you are at the ! push both volume buttons to get into recovery... select with the volume keys and execute with the power button..
