Help Clickable links in Yahoo Mail for Android

Mr. Boom

Android Enthusiast
Downloaded this app today, and it all works ok, except that links in an email are not clickable, and i cannot find a setting for this in the app.

Anyone know how to change this so links in emails work on this app?

I did exactly that. How long does it usually take Yahoo to reply, and is that mailbox even monitored?

I never had a reply. I would imagine that someone is getting those emails. I really hope they add:

-Copy/paste
-Click link
-Contact Sync
-Calendar Sync
-Task Sync
-A better offline cache. So if you have no service (subway) you can still read messages.

do any of you have an issue getting notifications? I had it on my phone before the recent update and I never received any notifications which was a fail for me and I had to delete. I'm using k-9 now and it's prety good, but I would prefer yahoo as that is what I use for my verizon mail.
thanks in advance

I have notifications turned off. I don't want my phone buzzing or beeping at the wrong time while i am at work.

Notifications seem sporadic. It's not like exchange. It seems like you have to make a connection at least once a day to maintain good notifications. This is in my experience.

I can click links and it works about 80% of the time. Notifications sometimes mysteriously stop working until you open the app again.

serpentine, I agree that copy/paste and offline cache are big ones that I miss. I hate the load times when you click on a message etc.

You have clickable links in the 'Yahoo MAil for Android' app that is downloaded from the market? On what phone please? Mine does not have clickable links.

Yes Yahoo for android v 1.0.3 on Inc but it only works if the sender formats it in HTML. Sorry for the confusion...

After doing a little checking, i noticed that the issue is actually with links to threads in forums, like this one. They do not work, but other links do.

Hmmm, how do i fix that?
