I actually appreciate that android prompts me to choose a browser initially, but once I'm already using the stock browser I get tired of having to keep telling it to use the browser I already chose to use. And i don't have any other browser set to default browser or anything like that. Thanks

What phone do you have? You're sure that you haven't downloaded another browser? I would think it would prompt you and ask "Make this your default browser" or "Don't ask again"

The next time it prompts you to choose a browser check the box below which says something like "always use this browser for this action" and then choose the browser you want.
