Help Clock discrepancies across android apps

A few days after buying/activating my LG Optimus V on Virgin Mobile's network, I noticed the clock in the notification area at the top of the screen would lag behind real time, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for hours. Upon further exploration, I found the analog clock widget would show similar lag, as well as the desk clock app. At times, the Optimus V will be reporting four completely different times as the current time, depending on what app I am looking at. The only apps I have installed are Advanced Task Killer, Weatherbug, Pandora, VEVO, Twitter, Facebook for Android, and all the apps that come with the Virgin Mobile version of the phone. Is anyone else having this issue? Could it be one of the apps I have installed, or is it just a bug in the Android OS? Anyone know of any solutions? Any input would be greatly appreciated, as this problem is really frustrating!!

I have heard of your problem, but I haven't (forunately) experienced it first hand. From what I read, try checking the system date and time and change it if necessary. From there I believe it is to set on it's own correctly. I am not 100% on this, like I said, I read it (I cannot locate the forum right now), but I think it is worth a shot if you haven't tried it.

Hope this helped!

Advanced Task Killer

If memory serves me correctly, that app was the reason I had that time issue on mine. Uninstall it and see if that's causing the issue.

To be honest, with the OpV you really don't need an auto task killer. Get Watchdog and let it warn you of apps going wild so it can let you manually kill them.
