Help Clock with wrong time

My brand new G Tablet has the wrong time where I am, and wrong time for different cities. It had the wrong time from the get go. How do I fix it? Thanks for all input!

Welcome to the forums.

By any chance, are you planning to install a custom ROM? I know the custom ROMS have this fixed. Otherwise, when choosing a timezone in settings, choose a standard time or country rather than a specific city or state if available. I honestly don't remember the options for the stock settings but I remember reading that it resolved the time and date issue for some gtabs.
