guys i need help with the same thing plus the mounting usb storage isnt going eitheir and i downloded the thing u use to flash it back to normal...guys please help me out..please..desprate
Okay, if mounting as USB doesn't work that's because you've done something stupid, and pulled it before disconnecting it safely in windows (disabling it's drivers)
You can TRY rebooting the system, and reconnecting it to a different port if you have one.
OR do the below steps...but READ THEM FIRST THERE ARE POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES YOU MAY NOT LIKE!!!!!
ANYWAYS
If you haven't updated with the LG Updater tool, go check out that thread
HERE
Try this out too, all of these have the possibility of working.
1. Remove battery.
2. Insert battery.
3. Vol Down + Power 'till factory reset screen shows up.
4. Hit power twice and the device will reboot.
progress bar will show, then finish, and phone will reboot.
5. At this point, it'll do one of Three things.
5A. It will get Boot Stuck at the LG Screen
5B. It will boot into CWM recovery
5C. It will boot into the Main operating system and be EXTREMELY confused, so connect to usb mode, and copy over what you want then boot into recovery from ROM Manager.
Good luck...And I should note that if you get boot stuck the ONLY thing you can do is return it to metro, and tell them that (I did this, so I KNOW that it works - 'cuz they can't prove it.)
"I downloaded the LG Firmware update from the LG Updater, and it did this to my phone! I'm certain that it's not a virus because it never did this until the update; and I've looked online that I'm not the only person that it happened to."
If you get CWM recovery, try USB mode again in the new port, after restarting...mount before, and after plugging it in to see if either will work.
If that doesn't work, and you can't cause a boot loop the best thing you can do is find a way to get your microsd card to your computer (readers are only like 15-20 bucks) and xfer a recovery rom from my thread to it, and flash it that way.
There's a lot of things you can do at this point

You're not as "stuck" as you feel.
