whoa2010

Lurker
Today i rooted my sisters fascinate with oneclickroot. Then installed rom manager from the market. installed the latest clockworkmod 3.0.0.8. When ever i try to back up my current rom, it reboots then comes up with an error. then goes into the samsung recovery mode. i tried it a few times and still get the same error. Then i used odin to install CWMrecovery.tar. used the PDA mode in odin to install it. Then i got stuck in a boot loop. finally got out of the boot loop by installing DI01 with odin. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong. i cant back up my rom at all.

I just got back with romming today from a 4ish month vacation and back then rom manager was a piece of garbage. You're better off getting rid of that, heading to XDA's development forum and finding a rom/kernel combo there. Also, I think the latest CWR is 4 (blue) but I could be wrong.

I check XDA developer for a rom but its confusing to me. I was looking at superclean. the lastest CWR is 3 which is blue. is there any tutorial you can link me to that would make everything easier?
