Help clockworkmod issue

ok so when i reboot my phone it shows the boot logo but then the screen turns black n stays like that. So i do a battery pull and when i put the battery back on
it starts with the bootlogo then the animation then to my screen. How come i cant go to the clockworkmod ?

If you want to load CWM without using the bootstrapper, then plug your phone into a wall outlet and reset it. CWM should pop up.

If you are loading into your home screen, then use Droid 2 Bootstrapper to reboot into recovery.

No, just giving you two options to get to the same place. If you are able to load into your home screen, then just use the droid x bootstrapper to load into CWM. If you are stuck and can't get into your home screen, then use the other method that I gave you.
