Root ClockworkMod Recovery not working

How many apps do you have?

If dalvik is on ext already, then you cant have many apps installed at all - and its somethng else taking up space.

Or, the GUI is reporting incorrect information and Dalvik is still on NAND.

yeah try it through terminal emulator and see what happens.
 
Ok I have sorted that. And getting Gingervillain 2.1 means now the LED shines blue when the screen is locked and I get a txt. Doens't work when the screen is unlocked but that isn't the end of the world.

One more thing though which I remember bugging me before I rooted is the power button switching on the screen. I always end up accidentally switching on the screen in my pocket and then it is just a matter of time before some accidental movement unlocks the screen. There was an option to disable the power button from switching on the screen when cooking the modaco ROM. is there anyway of doing it with this ROM? I just want the trackpad button to switch on the screen. I still want a long press on the power button to allow me to switch it off though.

Is the phone on charge?
LED notifications in GV don't function when the phone has the Orange or Green on charge/ fully charged LEDs are already active.
