Root ClockworkMod v5.0.0.1

They skipped from 3.0+ to 5? What happened to 4? lol

Anyway does this address nandroid backing up the right spots with the leaked sense gingerbread version? Was it the change of the way apps to save to sd or something?
 
Hey guys I'm trying to flash a new kernel on MIUI and I just updated to the new CWM but whenever I go to bootloader then try to go in to recovery it just goes to the fastboot screen I think is what it is? It does the same thing if I try to go from Rom Manager. Any idea what to do or why I can't get to recovery?
 
Multi-touch (above 2 points) is broken for AMOLED devices. Haven't even tried to see if this fixes the wiping issues found in 3.x (never tried 4.x). Still haven't found a recovery that tops 2.5.1.2 on an AMOLED. And, since it does both amend and edify, no need to "upgrade" to a broken recovery.
 
I recommend upgrading unless you have SLCD.

I upgraded to ClockworkMod v5.0.0.1 with my AMOLED and it works great.

Muti-Touch didn't work in 3.0.0.8 and I don't even miss it at all.

The SLCDs seem to have a problem with v5 though so hold off.

Multitouch for up to 10 touchpoints does work on CWM 3.0.0.7 on Amoled devices (got 5 myself; had 10 on Froyo). I won't be moving up to 5.x unless and until it's back again. Have a piano app that I want to be able to play chords on.

  • mounts /DATA ???? IS THIS MOUNTING THE DATA DISK???(UN)
  • (UN)MOUNT/CASH ???? yWY CAN'T i MOUNT PARTITION IS THERE???
  • mount/SDCARD I think it is obvious corrrect ??
  • mount /sd-ext What the hell is sd-ext data in ext2 ??????
  • format /system goal ????? seams part ofter non existing mount/system????
  • format/data nice date ext2???? ext3????? ext4 ????? what ?????
  • format /cashe seems obvious formats cache ext 2??ext3???ext4??? unstructured ???

FIX permissions fixes the permission on the disks ?????

All SEEMS very usefull but without the essential doc is dangerous and useless.
