Talk about a heart stopper! :eek:

I found my 3 year old son holding my phone and the charger crying. First thought, did he shock himself by trying to stick the charger up his nose or something. Second thought did he destroy my third child (I have a daughter, son and my evo).

He did neither, thank god! Unfortunately the charger is toast! He bent the metal end 90 degrees from true in the charging port on the phone! Took a while to get that little metal sleeve out of the phone because it broke off in the charging port. I was sure he broke it and it wouldn't charge anymore.

I hit up Best Buy for a Blackberry usb data / charging cable, and the sucker is fine! Still charges good and data transfers no prob. Had to find a new roost for the phone tho....
 
well i'm glad no one was hurt. your kid is pretty strong. future linebacker maybe?

i lost my charger once and had to go to best buy, but they were out. so i bought a rocketfish wallcharger and it destroyed my battery. it would't hold a charge anymore. luckily i found my htc charger, but i had to buy a new battery. so be careful. not sure about blackberry though. they maybe better then rocketfish.

Yeah buddy buddy is an ox, his head is gigantic. He weighs over 40 lbs already, and he's lost just about all his baby fat!

The guy in the phone dept. told me they didn't carry the replacement usb data/ charger cords anymore because they just sat on the shelf. The Blackberry cord was a little cheaper, and was the exact same thing. If it smokes my battery, Best Buy will provide me with a new one.:rolleyes:

Thank god the thing still charges, I only had about 30% battery left. Don't think there was enough to dl the files and unroot. :p
